* Popular Rivers State Activist, Ann-Kio Briggs Vehemently Speaks Out On Behalf Of The Rivers State People In Support of The State Assembly To Demand Accountability From Former Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ekwe Ete Ibas.

Greetings!
This is Harry Agina, the representative of Mr. No Bullshitting. I refer you to the news headline my caption below for this treatise.

BACKGROUND PRELUDE:
In a previous commentary, I condemned Nyesom Wike’s impunity to boast to Nigerians that he has the right to grab 20 billion naira of Rivers State money from the state governor, Sim Fubara. His reason was that he is Fubara’s political godfather. He claimed that that’s what politics is all about.

NO-BULLSHITTING RESPONSE TO NYESOM WIKE:
Mr. No Bullshitting responded, thus: “Hell doggone no, Mr. Wike, that’s not what politics is all about! You’re extorting the funds of the people of Rivers State from Governor Fubara. The governor does not own the money, and he has no right to give you the people’s money. If he wants to pay you for helping him to become governor in 2023, he must pay you from his personal salary and not the people’s money. Futhermore, political godfatherism is totally unrecognized by Nigeria constitution, and using it to extort state funds is a huge evil crime against the people of Rivers State, meeeeeeeen!!!”

BACKGROUND PRELUDE, STAGE TWO:
When Fubara tried to resist Wike’s extortion, Wike and President Tinubu connived to declare a “State of Emergency” in Rivers State. Though totally unnecessary, the “State of Emergency” on its own was not completely unconstitutional. The lawlessness of the duo of President Tinubu and Nyesom Wike was when they unconstitutionally suspended the governor from office for six months, ILLEGALLY replacing him with a “Sole Administrator, meeeeeeeen!!!

NOW, TO THE PRESENT POST EMERGENCY-RULE ERA:
My title above and the reason for this commentary is about the continued reign of Nyesom Wike’s IMPUNITY OF LAWLESSNESS through one Vice Admiral Ibok-Ekwe Ete Ibas. He’s the man who represented Nyesom Wike and President Bola Tinubu as sole administrator of Rivers State during the emergency rule. Ibas’s rule was marred by huge controversies of lawlessness and alleged looting of public funds.

However, the allegations of lawlessness and looting of public funds against Vice Admiral Ibas is not my focus here. My focus is the same IMPUNITY OF LAWLESSNESS that has prevailed among some crooks who have ruled Nigeria since 1999. Further, my point is: LIKE WIKE, LIKE IBAS who he installed in Rivers State as sole administrator! Nyesom Wike illegally STATED that he has the right to grab 20 billion naira every month from Rivers State purse. Now, his mentee, Vice Admiral Ibas has the annoying AUDACITY and IMPUNITY to declare that nobody must probe his administration for accountability. It’s shown below in the newspaper headline of September 22, 2025. This came up as the Rivers State House of Assembly stated a few days back that it will probe Ibas’s financial dealings during his tenure as sole administrator. Ibas said that the Assembly has no power to probe him because he was an appointee of President Bola Tinubu and must not account to the State Assembly. What atrocious IMPUNITY, meeeeeeeen!!!

NO BULLSHITTING CONCLUSION QUESTIONS:
(1) Is Admiral Ibas too unintelligent to understand that the president’s imunity against prosecution does not cover him?
(2) Is Ibas too unintelligent to understand that even the president himself is not covered for his entire life against probe, accountability, trial and imprisonment??

(3) Is Ibas not aware that even the president can be tried and imprisoned for corruption and stealing as soon as he leaves office as the president???

(4) Furthermore, just like state governors and the president, even if Ibas was covered by imunity while he was sole administrator, he has lost that protection now that he has left the office. Is Ibas too unintelligent or too corrupt to understand that simple fact, meeeeeeeen????!!!

CHALLENGE TO NIGERIANS:
Now, time for Mr. No Bullshitting consistent challenge to my Nigerian brethren to wake up from our docility and grab our country back from corrupt rulers. Time to remind us that, unlike what some people believe, massive opinions against lawlessness by the rulers can actually make a lot of difference for the required change, yes sir, yes ma’am!!! And, do remember that Rivers State does not have to be your own state for you to contribute to the campaign. Corruption and criminality by rulers in one state of Nigeria is corruption and criminality against all Nigerians, meeeeeeeen!!!

PLEA FOR CIVILITY IN COMMENTS:
I ask everybody to address the issue and contribute constructively to the conversation without rancor or attacks on anybody. I must specifically request one Cletus George to dump his usual rancorous mode of attacking people whose comments he disagrees with. Our common enemies are the rulers who are destroying Nigeria. If you’re one of those rulers, then inform us so that we can look at your own corruption index. If not, then desist from attacking people who are condemning the OBVIOUS terrible rulership. If you disagree with any opinion, give us intelligent, cunstructive opposing opinions WITH FACTS, without abusing anynody, meeeeeeeen!!!
