Greetings!
This is just a simple comparison between a true DEMOCRACY as practiced in the USA and the DEMO-CRAZY of lawlessness in Nigeria. Mind you, I am not saying that America is perfect, meeeeeeeen!!!
The two pictures of news headlines below says it all. Both pictures speak of public protest, one in President Bola Tinubu’s Nigeria, and the other in President Donald Trump’s USA. The first picture with its caption shows public protest in Nigeria on October 20, 2025, with the usual LAWLESSNESS, CONSTITUTION-VIOLATION, and MADNESS in the Nigerian government of President Bola Tinubu. The second picture is about a public protest in the USA on October 18, 2025, where President Donald Trump LAWFULLY OBEYED American constitution. Unlike the LAWLESS President Tinubu who HIGH-HANDEDLY STIFFLED the Nigerian protest, the LAWFUL President Trump made no move to stiffle the US protest. Some non-Nigerians may not know that this same hypocritical President Tinubu led so many protests in Nigeria against other presidents when he was not president. It suited his selfish purpose then to claim that he was a democrat, meeeeeeeen!!!
Mind you, the American protest, with the slogan, “No Kings,” was directly against President Trump, alleging that he is getting too authoritarian like a kings in an ancient monarchy. That was because of a few moves that Trump has made since he became president, which Americans disagree with. As seen in the picture below, millions of Americans protested on October 18 without any interruption by American police. In Nigeria, just a few hundreds of people came out to protest and THE BRUTAL LAWLESS NIGERIA POLICE CRIMINALLY shot teargas as well as live bullets at them. Yes, “CRIMINALLY,” I say, because it is a crime against our constitution when the police violate the law that allows the citizens to protest, meeeeeeeen!!!
Besides, President Tinubu’s continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu is also a crime against Nigeria’s constitution. Why? Because Kanu’s case has gone all the way to the Supreme Court of Nigeria and he was discharged. In fact, the Supreme Court awarded one billion naira damage-fee to Kanu for some UNLAWFUL ACTS of Nigerian government against him. Yet, President Tinubu has continued what many critics call the evil “tribalistc persecution” of Kanu, which was initiated by the late former President Buhari. Remember, this is the same Tinubu who has just released hundreds of terrible criminals from prison, including drug traffickers and murderers. Mind you, I am not necessarily agreeing with all the acts of Nnamdi Kanu, but the fact remains that the government’s acts of lawlessness against Kanu have now outweighed his bad acts, meeeeeeeen!!!
KEY DEMOCRATIC-REVOLUTION LESSON FOR NIGERIANS TO LEARN FROM AMERICA:
Here is my key point in this commentary of comparison between President Tinubu’s LAWLESSNESS and President Trump, arrising from the matter of public protests: President Bola Tinubu has directly SUSPENDED NIGERIA’S CONSTITUTION in many occasions, including removing Rivers State elected governor, and stiffling of citizen’s right to protest. President Trump HAS NOT GONE ANYWHERE CLOSE TO TINUBU’S LAWLESSNESS. The relatively minor violations by Trump resulted in the massive protest in America, featuring over one million people. So, try to IMAGINE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IN AMERICA IF TRUMP EVER DARES TO COMMIT ANY OF THE LAWLESS ATROCITIES THAT TINUBU HAS COMMITED AGAINST NIGERIA’S CONSTITUTION!!! That’s the difference between the DEMO-CRAZY in Nigeria because of the shameful DOCILITY of Nigerians, and the true DEMOCRACY in America where the people revolt against leaders who break the law, meeeeeeeen!!!
Sadly, some insensible hypocritical Nigerians such as one Cletus George are the reasons for the demo-crazy in Nigeria. They nonsensically favor the madness in Nigeria’s DEMO-CRAZY in comparison with the DEMOCRACY in America, Europe, and other true democracies of the world. I always say my reason why I cite this Cletus George dude each time I condemn Nigerians who defend the rulers who are destroying Nigeria. Cletus George acts like a mad attack dog in defense of the destructive rulers, that’s why!!! I wouldn’t mind so much if he intelligently engages people of opposing views and probaly convince us to buy into his own oppinions or views. Instead, Cletus George chooses to attack people like criminal street orchins, otherwise known as “Area Boys” in Nigerian lingo.
I make Cletus George my personal problem because he made me his personal enemy to attack whenever I condemn the political madness in Nigeria. So, he is now my regular example whenever I address this matter of corruption and hypocricy in supporting bad rulership in Nigeria. He says that I am unpatriotic. But, in fact, he and his kind are actually the MOST UNPATRIOTIC NIGERIANS by supporting the destruction of Nigeria by corrupt rulers. I must educate Cletus George on true democracy in his own mad style.
Go ahead and blame me if you want, but I must show Cletus George that he is too unintelligent or too unschooled to challenge me in such a journalistic war of words. I wait for his madness of attacking me one more time to EXPOSE HIS DISGRACEFUL SOCIAL WEAKNESS THAT I AM AWARE OF. I will remind him that people who live in glass houses don’t throw stones, meeeeeeeen!!!
