(1) South Korea’s Former First Lady’s bribes were MERE JEWELERY AND HANDBAGS. The worths are in few thousands of dollars, and she has been jailed shortly after her husband left office.
(2) In Nigeria, insatiable greedy politicians steal billions and trillions of naira and dollars, but very, very, few ever get convicted, or even tried at all!!! The few who are tried use bribery to keep their cases in court forever without convictions, much thanks to Nigeria’s most corrupt judiciary in the world.
Can Nigeria ever be like countries such as South Korea and China where accountability reigns? Remember, in China, public officials actually get EXECUTED for stealing mere thousands of dollars. On the contrary, Nigerians get promoted and given honorary awards after stealing billions of dollars, meeeeeeeen!!!
