FEATURING FAYA TESS, THE QUEEN OF AFRICAN SOUKOUS AND RUMBA (RHUMBA) MUSIC

Greetings!

This is Afro-Scope, the telescope that beams on Africa, and the Africans. We share the African ways of life with the world. I am Harry Agina. Afro-Scope is a Magazine Show, which means that we have various categories. They are listed right here on our menu, as you can see. Our common style in all the categories is “InfoTainment.” Obviously, this is a compound word, which is a fusion of Information and Entertainment. That’s what we do—informing you through entertainment.

And now, I introduce to you our new series on women—African as well as non-African—who are in traditional African music. This is a vlog, so we are treating you with a film production series. We are starting with Faya Tess, the Queen of Soukous and Rumba (also spelt as Rhumba) music. She is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in Central Africa. Without further ado, I now give you our Motion Picture production on Faya Tess, the Soukous and Rumba Queen. Our Focus this time is Soukous music of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You know, I can bet you almost anything that you will fall in love with what you’re about to see and hear. So, please do us the favor to subscribe to our show. Then, you’ll get to see the rest of this great series on “Women In Traditional African Music,” as well as all our great AfroCultural entertainment productions. You do see all our handles here; don’t ya? Yes, you do! So, what are you waiting for, huh? Please subscribe. Thanks a million! And here’s Faya Tess for ya:
