December 23, 2025
To wake up in Nigeria any day without any mass kidnapping news would be a great surprise to Nigerians. It is now a daily norm, and the reaction of most Nigerians to any news of kidnapping is, “Tell Me Something New.” The newspaper headline below has one for today, the 23rd of December, 2025.
It’s time again for President Bola Tinubu’s “NON-KINETIC” (begging and negotiation) action with NEGOTIATORS to hold another meeting with HIS GOVERNMENT’S FEIENDS, the sponsors and representatives of the terrorists. If the kidnap victims are lucky, the next story will be how Tinubu’s “NON-KINETIC” (or begging negotiation) action has gotten them “RELEASED.” The story is no longer about how police/military action kills or arrests the terrorists to RESCUE the victims. Keywords: RELEASE of victims Versus RESCUE of victims. The difference being whether (1) The terrorists are BEGGED and PAID to release their victims, or (2) CONFRONTED with our able armed forces to kill or arrest them to RESCUE the victims.
Here are the recuring pertinent questions: Has President Tinubu’s government been completely DEFEATED and SUBDUED by terrorists and their sponsors? Or, is it more apt to say that the government is openly COMPROMISED, doing business with the terrorists, their sponsors, and their negotiators??
