This is “AfroCultural Movies Reviews” InfoTainment Series, where we entertain you with African Cultural movies as we inform you about traditions and customs of Africa. In the process, we promote great traditions and customs, and we condemn the bad ones. We also talk about ones that are good, but need to be modified to suit the evolving 21st century world.
This time, we bring you a review featuring a Nigerian Nollywood movie titled, “Against My Wish.” It is about archaic tradition of forced marriage in Africa, where a Nigerian young lady literally goes through hell in the hands of members of her family for resisting her mama’s attempt to sell her off into a loveless marriage with some rich men.
