Greetings!
This is Harry Agina. If you speak or understand the English language, there is no question that you do know the word, “POLYGAMY,” which is the social tradition of one man having two or more wives instead of just one. It is very common in Africa, and also happens in few non-African communities of the world.
What is not very common in Africa or other societies of the world is the word, “POLYANDRY.” It is the flipside of polygamy, whereby a woman in few communities of Africa can have several husbands at the same time, just as a man can have several wives in a polygamy. It is a classical case of the saying that “What a man can do, a woman can also do,” or, “What is good for the goose is good for the gander.”
Now, let’s get to the reason for this piece, the introduction of Afro-Scope’s AfroCultural Drama Series on POLYANDRY, titled “REVERSED HAREM.” It is a thriller you are bound to love, guaranteed!!! We have two versions of it–scripted and film versions. We are presently in the production of the film version. Meanwhile, let’s keep you company with our scripted version when you click on this link to epis≥ode one, which also connects you to all the eight episodes of the AfoCultural Drama Series On POLYANDRY, titled “REVERSED HAREM”: https://afro-scope.com/2024/03/12/afrocultural-dramas-on-polyandry-titled-reversed-harem-1
