You know, I get so offended each time I hear the political madness of referring to the current ethnic-cleansing, land-grabbing jihadist-Invasions in Nigeria as “Farmers-Herders Clash.” Mr. No Bullshitting has something to say about this aberration, the possible mischievous reason behind it, and a little more about the jihadist-mission that is currently going on in Nigeria.
The full story is a vlog (video form), but even before we get to it, we have a little background information on the general matter of insecurity in Nigeria. The bottom-line is that insecurity is getting worse by the day in Nigeria because the rulers who they call leaders refuse to do the right thing to secure the country. They are busy playing politics for their selfish gains in various ways. For instance, just a few days back, a serving senator, Orji Uzor Kalu went public with a statement that “Some politicians are sponsoring terrorism in the country to sabotage president Bola Tinubu’s government.”
Another fact is that President Tinubu himself is busy playing politics in his desperate bid to “GRAB” a second term in office in the 2027 presidential election. Rather than concentrate on governance in his present term, the president is more interested in all manner of politicking and political games for a so-called re-election in 2027. I have advisedly used a couple of terms here—“grab,” and “so-called election”— because President Tinubu is commonly associated with election-rigging by Nigerians. Well, really, forget about what Nigerians see and say, the president himself seemed to affirm this image in 2023 when he was caught on video that went viral. He was instructing his “boys” that elections are not for feeble-minded. “You must grab it, snatch it, and run with it,” he declared, with utmost impunity! Mind you, Mr. President is barely halfway into his present term, and his campaign and apparent manipulations for the 2027 election is already in top gear, in various forms.
