AFROCENTRIC PHILOSOPHICAL MOVEMENT VERSUS EUROENTRICISM

August 25, 2025

(1) ARE YOU AN AFRICAN? IF YES, ARE YOU A TRUE AFRICAN WITH AFROCENTRIC MINDSET

(2) HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF DR. MOLEFI KETE ASANT AND “AFROCENTRIC PHILOSOPHICAL MOVEMENT”?

Greetings!
Harry Agina again with Afro-Scope Project, and our three Ps purpose of Preserving, Protecting, and Promoting the African Culture. My subtitle number two above talks about Dr. Kete Asante and “AfroCentric Philosophical Movement.” However, this is just a teaser for Afro-Scope impending treatise on AfroCentricism. But I can tell you here and now that 83-year-old Dr. Kete Asante is my mentor and the founder of “AfroCentric Philosophical Movement.” And, oh, by the way, this is not his original name at birth. It’s an adopted AfroCentric name. You can find out why on your own, or you may wanno wait for my impending treatise.

My first subtitle asks the question to Africans: Are you AfroCentric, or are you one of those EuroCenrric Africans who are ashamed of their African heritage? Are you an African doing everything possible to destroy your African culture with the ignorant adoption of someone else’s culture?

Yes indeed, too many Africans in Africa are virtually no longer African because they have denounced and renounced their African culture in effort to adopt someone else’s culture. Most of such Africans try to adopt either European or American culture. They are not African because they are ashamed of their African culture. And they CAN NEVER BE European because it is not natural for them. Essentially, therefore, they have become CULTURAL MISFITS who are neither good as Africans, nor good as Europeans, meeeeeeeen!!!

AFRO-SCOPE FOOD FOR THAUGHT:
Are you one of those CULTURAL MISFITS of Africa? Why do you believe that your African Culture is demonic and inferior to the European Culture?? Would you like to be part of a conversation on this matter of AfroCentricism versus EuroCenrricism in due course??? Among several attractions, we shall talk about “The Most African Africans Outside Africa.”
