I am Harry Agina, with my vlog series titled, “Commonly Misused Words, Phrases, Terms, Tenses, and Idiomatic Expressions.” When you address a person like a president of a country or a governor of a state in the country who bear the title, “Excellency,” how do you use the word? Do you address him or her as “Your Excellency,” or do you call him or her “His Excellency” or “Her Excellency”?
This is about very common misuse of “His Excellency” and “Your Excellency,” and similar titles or greetings. Too many people do not know when to use one or the other. The following vlog attempts to clear this confusion for those who are confused.
