The Newspaper Headline Below Says That China Supports Nigeria Against US Threat.
Here are some pertinent questions: Would China fight beside Nigeria against the US if it eventually boils down to that? Or, is it another one of the hypocritical self-serving rhetorical statements by world powers, which are based on their investment interests in Africa??
My first take is that President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria must beware of China and any others who declare support against President Trump or USA with their rhetorics about sovereignty. It is Nigerians in Nigeria who would bear the brunt of any military intervention, not Chinese in China! My second take is that Tinubu MUST AMICABLY approach Trump to support Nigeria in getting rid of terrorism in Nigeria with a good approach, because Tinubu has failed woefully in that war and, genocide or no genocide, ORDINARY NIGERIANS ARE INDEED SUFFERING. We must ignore Nigerian propagandist rulers and their sovereignty rhetorics. The terrorism is not affecting them and their families because they are all protected by the limited armed forces of Nigeria!!!
