Yes indeed! Nigerian rulers are totally heartless as they pursue their political ambitions, meeeeeeeen!!!
I mean, how does it make sense at all to the governor of a state in Nigeria to be more interested in politics at a time that many citizens of his state are going through hell, literally? I speak of the two news pictures and captions below about Kwara state in northern Nigeria and its ruler, Governor Abdulrazaq. The first picture and caption talks about the release of a viral video by the governor, boasting about his plan to win the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja for President Bola Tinubu and his APC political party in the impending 2027 elections.
First off, Nigerian rulers have the annoying tendency to lie about their influences over the citizens who hate them for their massive corruption. It is clear to any descerning person that the rulers cannot possibly win any election that is conducted in a free and fair process that is devoid of election rigging. Hence, it is also very clear that the rulers count on election rigging whenever they boast about their so-called winning of elections.
THE FOCUS OF THE COMMENTARY:
The second picture with its caption below is the focus of this commentary. I will relate it to my last election-rigging statement in my last paragraph above.
Here is my thematic question: How does Governor Abdulrazaq of Kwara state in northern Nigeria intend to win the FCT for President Tinubu and his APC in the impending 2027 elections? If you ask me, or even as you ain’t asking me yet, I still tell ya: He must have a plan for massive election rigging! I say this because he is unlikely to draw much votes in any free and fair election devoid of rigging. Why? Because he does not give a damn about the suffering of the citizens of his state. How does he intend to win the votes of the people who are not happy with him because he doesn’t give a damn about their welfare?
And, yes, it is obvious that Abdulrazaq does not give a damn about the safety and welfare of the citizens of his Kwara state. This fact is clear in his recent viral video where he boasted about his plan to deliver FCT electoral votes to President Tinubu and his ruling APC political party in 2027. What makes this so bad is that over 170 Kwara state citizens had just been abducted by terrorsts in Kaiama local government area on that same day (February 15, 2026) that he boasted about his election plan. Governor Abdulrazaq was more interested in promising to win FCT for APC in the impending 2027 elections, than addressing the terrorism going on in his state. Meanwhile, his officials are said to have released false statements that reduced the number of the abduction victims from the actual figure of 176 people all the way down to under 40 people only.
I truly can’t understand what so many Nigerian rulers benefit when they underplay the tragedy that befall Nigerians everyday, meeeeeeeen!!!
