This is Harry Agina, the representative of Mr. No Bullshitting, the radical Socio-Political Critic of Africa. As you can see in my title above and the two news headlines below, this is a comparison between two societies…one society where LEADERS are held accountable for their actions because the people are actively democratic, and the other society where RULERS act with criminal IMPUNITY because the people are two docile to hold their rulers accountable for their terrible actions, meeeeeeeen!!!
In one news headline below about President Donald Trump of America, you see a president who quickly pays attention to the rejection of his policy by his people. And, in the headline about President Tinubu of Nigeria, you see a president who, rather than pay attention to the complaints of his people that his policies are killing the people, is busy telling lies about those insensitive policies that are killing his people, meeeeeeeen!!!
Rather than listen to the cries of his people and adjust his devastitating taxation policies, Tinubu is boasting that such policies are great. He defies all suggestions to adjust his unpopular ways. He boasts about his achievement in increasing the revenues of his government, refusing to listen to the cries of his people that he is over-taxing them for that so-called achievement, meeeeeeeen!!!
In contrast, President Trump has promptly responded to his people’s rejection of his tariff-hike plans. He wants to immediately work on adjusting his unpopular ways. His response to a court verdict is prumpt. On the contrary, President Tinubu has little or no interest in the rulings of the highly corrupt judiciary of Nigeria, because the judiciary of Nigeria has no autonomy. It is controlled by the president, meeeeeeeen!!!
DO LET ME KNOW IF THIS LITTLE COMPARISON BETWEEN PRESIDENT TINUBU OF NIGERIA AND PRESIDENT TRUMP OF AMERICA MAKES ANY SENSE TO YOU.
