1) Matters Before The Presidential Order.
(2) Matters Arrising From The Presidential Order.
Greetings!
This is Harry Agina. I give you the above title, and I have today’s news headline below to go with it.
Let’s get to my subtitles one and two above, thus: “Matters before the presidential order and Matters arrising from the order.”
We all know the matters before President Bola Tinubu’s order to withdraw Nigeria Police officers from the so-called Very Important Persons (VIPs).” The matters include the annoying fact that Nigeria has less than four hundred thousand police officers who cannot protect over 220 million population of Nigerians. Rather than deploy those few officers to protect all Nigerians, they are corruptively deployed to protect just a few persons in the society. Note that I call those few people SO-CALLED Very Important Personalites because it annoys me to describe a few Nigerians as “Very important” while the rest of Nigerians are treated as their slaves who deserve to be massacred by bandits and terrorists. Check out the second picture below. What do you see? That’s a known terrorist sympathizer called Sheikh Ahmad Gumi who majority of Nigerians believe that he should be in prison for his utterances in support of terrorists and bandits. Instead, he is also considered a VIP with police officers surrounding and protecting him. This is a man who consistently tells us that Nigeria MUST NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS and bandits and beg them to stop their atrocities, meeeeeeeen!!!
Now, let’s get to matters arrising from the presidential order. I throw this one open to my readers out there to talk about while I act just as the anchor or the moderator. The thematic question is: Do you think that President Tinubu has the political will and sincerity to see his order through, or will it go the same route of most of his previous unfulfilled pronouncements.
Before you comment, do remember, if you’re Nigerian, or be informed if you’re not Nigerian, that this very same order has been pronounced one gazillion times in the past by Nigerian presidents and Nigeria Police Inspectors General. In direct instant mockery of the pronouncements, the so-called VIPs increased the numbers of police officers surrounding and protecting them. Now, we have over twenty police officers protecting one ordinary so-called adviser to an ordinary minister. Mind you, this is verifiable information, and not cooked up, meeeeeeeen!!!
So, what say you? Do you think that President Tinubu will ensure that his order is carried out, or go the same was as many of his unfulfilled promises and pronouncements???
