Greetings!
I am Harry Agina.
“I hate the people of the Igbo tribe of Nigeria. In fact they should be thrown into the Lagos lagoon.” That’s an excerpt of the HATE-SPEECH of the current First Lady of Nigeria, the wife of President Bola Tinubu. On national TV, she boldly and public declared her hatred of the people of the Igbo tribe of southeast Nigeria. In fact, she was cautioned in a whisper by somebody next to her that she was being recorded, and she retorted that she didn’t give a damn whether she was on global TV or not. That was just a few years ago before her husband became the president of Nigeria.
Now, fast forward to the present, September 30, 2026. The picture above was captured from a video of the same Remi Tinubu, now the First Lady of Nigeria with her husband now being Nigeria’s president. Remi Tinubu was delivering her Nigeria’s Independence speech in the TV commentary from which that picture was captured on September 30, 2026. I listened to her speech video. She was hailing Nigeria’s ETHNIC DIVERSITY, and asking Nigerians to show love to one another without regard to ethnic differences.
CAN YOU IMMEDIATELY SEE THE REASON FOR MY TITLE OF THIS COMMENTARY? DO YOU SEE THE HYPOCRISY OF MRS. TINUBU??
This is the same lady who recently publicly said that people of the Igbo tribe must be thrown into Lagos lagoon. Mrs. Tinubu has never recanted that declaration, nor has she ever apologized to the Igbo people for her HATE SPEECH. And there she was, preaching tribal unity…THE HIGHT OF EVIL HYPOCRISY, I say!!!
Yeah, I know, you may even complain that I keep bringing this lady’s self-confessed hatred of the Igbo people of Nigeria up at every opportunity. Yap, I do, and without apologies, because I truly hate hypocrisy. I get offended when a person says something that I happen to know for sure that it is contrary to what he/she actually feels inside. Mind you, and believe me when I say that I would feel the same way about Remi Tinubu if her hate speech was against Hausa-Fulani, Edo, or any other tribe of Nigeria. Anybody who knows my non-tribalistic mindset must know that I don’t complain about her because she hates Igno people.
My question is: Does Remi Tinubu mean that all tribes of Nigeria must love together and work together for a great Nigeria, EXCEPT THE IGBO TRIBE?
