Greetings!
I am Harry Agina. I hereby introduce to you a new drama series titled “Housemates From Hell,” a production of a Director of the Afro-Scope Project, Josiah Onesimus Haruna. Nigeria in West Africa has a national program named “National Youth Service Corps, with the acronym NYSC. It is a unifying program for all graduates of tertiary education in Nigeria — Universities, Colleges of Education, Schools of Technology — indeed, graduates of all tertiary education in Nigeria.
The founding fathers of NYSC had a noble national unification purpose for the program. The new graduates are posted away from their regions of origin to other regions in Nigeria, with the purpose to get the opportunity to interact with citizens of those other regions. The idea was/is cultural exchange, whereby the graduates are introduced to cultures of Nigeria other their on indigenous cultures. The services they offer to their host regions or tribes or cultures are determined by their educational disciplines.
“Housemates From Hell” is based on Youth Service Corpers who share residential quarters in a community where they serving, thus:
