A SEQUEL TO “1001 REASONS WHY NIGERIANS MUST REJECT ALL APC CANDIDATES IN THE 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS”
Greetings!
I am Harry Agina. On April 20, 2022, I launched a blog series titled, “1001 Reasons Why Nigerians Must Reject All APC Candidates In 2023 Elections.” It was a 7-part blog series during the electioneering period leading to Nigeria’s 2023 general elections. It stretched intermittently from April 20, to July 22, 2022. And, as my title said, I pointed out virtually and literally “One-Thousand-And-One” facts about the then ruling APC political party that would ruin Nigeria if it continued in power. In agreement with my argument, former British Prime Minister, David Cameron, described APC government and politicians as “Fantastically corrupt.” Search right here on Afro-Scope.com the title, “1001 Reasons Why Nigerians Must Reject All APC Candidates In 2023 Elections,” and voila!!! My seven blogs will appear for ya. The highlight of it all exposed presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the worst of the APC bunch who Nigerians must deny the seat of the president.
Sure enough, Nigerians did not vote for Tinubu and his gang. But that did not stop the desperate Bola Tinubu who had declared that it was his turn to become president of Nigeria by any means necessary. As he had confessed before the presidential election, he “grabbed it, snatched it, and ran with it.” Critics all over the world declared Tinubu’s 2023 ascension to the president’s seat as the most heinously blatant election-rigging in the history of Nigeria. And, sure enough, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu lived up to my pre-election prediction. He has destroyed the economy and security situations of Nigeria and plunged Nigerians into a virtual hell on earth. And, once again, he is doing everything in his corrupt character to stay in power. As usual, he has perfected his “structure” to “grab, snatch, and run with” Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election votes to continue forcing himself on Nigerians as president, meeeeeeeeen!!!
This is Part 1 of my sequel to “1001 Reasons Why Nigerians Must Reject All APC Candidates In The 2023 General Elections.” As the title says, the first phase of this series was from 2022 to 2023, and it was for 2023 elections. This sequel is for the impending 2027 general elections. However, my specific concern this time is President Bola Tinubu’s continuation as president. The man took Nigeria from the terrible condition that his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari had left it in 2023 and plunged it deeper into virtual hell. He would take the country one step deeper from VIRTUAL HELL into ABSOLUTE HELL if he grabs the people’s votes again in 2027 to stay in power. There is no question that his election-rigging “structure” is hard to beat. Hence, my clarion call to Nigerians this time around is to endeavor to reject Tinubu with greater determination than they had in 2023. Beyond denying Tinubu electoral votes, Nigerians MUST ALSO REVOLT AGAINST HIS ELECTION RIGGING in 2027, meeeeeeeeeeen!!!
SOME CURRENT REASONS TO REJECT TINUBU:
President Tinubu continues to do all the wrong things that earn him the hatred of Nigerians. He is not making any effort to please Nigerians with people-oriented decisions because his style is to “grab” their votes, and not to win their hearts to earn their votes. This is where I introduce a couple of my 1001 (thousand-and-one) reasons why Tinubu must be kicked out of office in 2027:
The above pictorial news headline of May 26, 2026, is self-explanatory. It talks about President Bola Tinubu’s continuous rewards to the terrorists who are massacring scores of Nigerians and kidnapping scores for outrageous ransom demands every doggone day! The latest of such outrageous encouragement of terrorism in Nigeria is another round of gifts to convicted terrorists. The above news headline says that a man who is on record for killing 96 innocent Nigerians was just “REWARDED” with a brand new Hilux truck, among other goodies. This was a follow-up on what majority of Nigerians call senseless “ENCOURAGEMENT” to terrorists by Nigerian government of President Bola Tinubu. It started with Tinubu’s release of 744 convicted terrorists in mid-April 2026 under the highly controversial and deplorable program named “Rehabilitation and Reintegration-Into-Society” of so-called repentant terrorists. In the disgusting fanfare that marked Tinubu’s “senseless rehabilitation” program, the 744 terrorists were showered with gifts by his government. Some living kidnap victims and the families of the 96 people who the single referenced terrorist had killed are watching. Hundreds of millions of other Nigerians are also watching as President Tinubu “senselessly” approves “rewards” to such demons who put them in terrible misery.
TRAUMATIZED VICTIMS OF TERRORISTS ARE NEVER AIDED BY PRESIDENT TINUBU
What enrages Nigerians about Tinubu’s so-called “Rehabilitation” program is the FACT that victims of the terrorist are not receiving any form of attention from the government. As President Tinubu rehabilitates evil Nigerian terrorists, pampering and showering them with gifts, he never does anything to rehabilitate or aid the TRAUMATIZED victims of the terrorists.
PRESIDENT TINUBU ENCOURAGES TERRORISM TO CONTINUE TO FESTER
Even a child who is sensible understands the fact that President Tinubu has been encouraging more Nigerians to join terrorist groups with his senseless rewards to convicted terrorists. Criminals now know that they can be rewarded with gifts by Tinubu after committing atrocities against innocent Nigerians. Next is news headline for another related reason to kick Tinubu out of office:
My second reason why Nigerians must reject Tinubu in 2027 is hinged on the above two recent pictorial news headlines of similar contents. The gist of it all is that Tinubu is up to his usual game of lying to and deceiving Nigerians in various ways. According to the news, he ordered his National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, to ensure that Nigeria’s armed forces conceal the atrocities of terrorists against Nigerians until after he has grabbed his so-called re-election bid, which I prefer to call RE-SELECTION through his anticipated election rigging. In previous commentaries, I did address his several antics why he is highly anticipated to rig the 2027 presidential election as he clearly did in 2023. The Afro-Scope Project is too objective to get frivolous in allegations against anybody. So, if you didn’t know already, I implore you to research my claim here. You would find abundant evidence that several international bodies and individual election observers had a consensus in their reports that Tinubu did not win the 2023 presidential election. He imposed himself on Nigerians through unconcealable election rigging, meeeeeeeeeeeen!!!
SENSIBLE WAR STRATEGY VERSUS TINUBU’S DECEITFUL RE-ELECTION STRATEGY ABOUT TERRORISM IN NIGERIA
In all fairness, I must say that playing down the atrocities of terrorists in Nigeria may not necessarily be a bad strategy. In the right hands, it could be sensible to downplay terrorist attacks to avoid public fear and panic. However, that is not the intent of President Bola Tinubu when he allegedly ordered Nigerian authorities to conceal the current escalating atrocities of terrorists in Nigeria. He only wants to deceive Nigerians that terrorism has subsided in Nigeria to give the impression that he is now doing a great job to reduce insecurity in the country. And, of course, this is to make him look good for his 2027 presidential re-selection bid. I count this against him because it is unhealthy for the people. The fact remains that terrorists are massacring scores of Nigerians, and kidnapping scores for ransom every doggone day. Tinubu wants all that concealed from Nigerians. The problem is that, as he pretends that he is winning the war against terrorism, many Nigerians are caught unawares by terrorists who are lurking right in their backyards. It is a fact that terrorism is now rapidly spreading from northern Nigeria to the south. For instance, there have been killings and abductions in Oyo State in southwest Nigeria in May, 2026. President Tinubu wants all those facts concealed from Nigerians for the senseless reason to look good for his 2027 RE-SELECTION as president, meeeeeeeeeeeen!!!
In the great spirit of “Objectivity-Cum-Sincerity” motto of Mr. No Bullshitting, I must admit that President Tinubu is finally taking the fight against terrorists a little seriously. However, his efforts are too little and too late. Besides, he is not doing it of his own volition. It is common global knowledge that President Donald Trump of America forced him to start taking the war to the terrorists. He is scared that Trump would invade Nigeria, capture and take him to the USA to try him for aiding and abetting terrorism in Nigeria. If Tinubu had any doubts about Trump’s radical disposition to punish him for his reluctance to fight terrorism, that doubt quickly vanished in January 2026. Trump invaded Venezuela, captured President Nicolas Maduro, and took him to the USA for trial for misrule. So, Tinubu immediately realized it was time to stop hiding behind Nigeria’s sovereignty rhetoric. He realized that he had no choice but take Trump’s threat to invade Nigeria over his failure to fight terrorism very seriously. Before that, Tinubu was commonly believed to be compromised in the war against terrorism. He refused to prosecute people in high places who were and are still openly accused of sponsoring terrorism. Before Trump’s intervention, Tinubu’s acts were very suspicious. He was busy negotiating with terrorists and paying them ransom for kidnapped Nigerians than send the armed forces to fight and eliminate the terrorists. In fact, his own son, Seyi Tinubu became an agent of terrorists negotiator, in cahoots with a notorious terrorists sympathizer and suspected sponsor of terrorism, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi.
“SAUDI ARABIA DEPORTS SHEIKH GUMI OVER TERRORISM WHILE TINUBU CONDONES HIS EXCESSES IN NIGERIA”
You know, some Nigerians want to be cautious, or politically correct, or afraid of repercussions, or whatever else. So, they would not speak out what they feel or know about President Tinubu on the matter of terrorism in Nigeria. But Mr. No Bullshitting is neither politically correct, nor afraid, nor any of all those other things. So, I am here to tell you what I believe about President Tinubu concerning terrorism in Nigeria, relative to Sheikh Ahmad Gumi’s activities as a self-confessed terrorists sympathizer. Tinubu is either compromised himself, or he is afraid of some members of the northern Nigeria oligarchy who sponsor terrorism in Nigeria. What most Nigerians know for a fact is that President Tinubu knows some persons in high places, including persons in his government, who are sponsors of terrorism. It is rumored or whispered or murmured within certain circles that, one way or another, Tinubu’s hands are tied so that he cannot prosecute or do anything to the sponsors. A clear example of such suspects is Sheikh Gumi. Some believe that Tinubu is either being blackmail or threatened to do nothing to the sponsors or sympathizers of terrorists. “Otherwise, try to explain why Sheikh Gumi in the above “Breaking” news pictorial headline is still walking free in Nigeria?” some critics ask. “The man Gumi consistently and boldly speaks in defense, in favor, and in support of Nigerian terrorists and bandits with utmost impunity,” the argument continues. The two news headlines above are clear on the position of Saudi Arabian government against Sheikh Gumi. He was deported from, and declared persona non grata (not welcome) in Saudi Arabia because of his identification and association with terrorism and terrorists in Nigeria. Yet, President Tinubu has never deemed it necessary to question Gumi’s activities and open support to terrorists. Critics like me wonder: Is president Tinubu scared of Gumi and his cohorts, or is he in some sort of partnership with Gumi, or is he being blackmailed by Gumi for some reason??? He refuses to at least caution Gumi for all his known pro-terrorism activities and inflaming public comments in support and defense of terrorists. This is a man who should actually be arrested and prosecuted as a major suspect for terrorism sponsorship. Saudi Arabia believes so, but the president of Nigeria where Gumi operates refuses to prosecute or even question him. Instead, Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, is alleged to be in cahoots with Gumi in negotiating for kidnap ransoms for terrorists, meeeeeeeeeeeeeen!!!
This is where I stop on this premiere edition of “1001 Reasons Why Nigerians Must Reject In 2027 Presidential Election.” I have named just two. So, look out for the other 999 reasons in subsequent editions:
