“OBJECTIVITY-CUM-SINCERITY” DEFINITION: Condemn A Person Or Something That Is Wrong Even When Your Own Mama Or Papa Is Involved; And Applaud A Person Or Something That Is Good Even When Your Worst Enemy Is Involved…No fear, no favor, no filters!!!

I am Harry Agina in the company of my journalistic alter-ego, Mr. No Bullshitting. Above, I defined “Objectivity-Cum-Sincerity,” which is the MOTTO of Mr. No Bullshitting as a socio-political critic of Africa. The purpose of this commentary is to affirm this motto, as I do from time to time. My subject of this affirmation is the incumbent president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
There is no question that I am, or should I say, Mr. No Bullshitting is, a strong critic of President Tinubu’s rulership of Nigeria. ‘We’ strongly condemn his policies and acts that are bad for the country. However, it is very important for me to also applaud the president whenever he does anything that deserves applause. That’s what Objectivity-Cum-Sincerity Motto is about. It means that I don’t dislike President Tinubu as a person, what I hate are some of his acts and policies that are hurting Nigeria and Nigerians. The truth of this matter is that I truly wish and hope that he would do more great things so that I would have much more reasons to praise him than condemn him.
Very important in the principle of Objectivity-Cum-Sincerity, is that it is COMPLETELY DEVOID OF SECTIONAL SENTIMENTS such as tribal and religious bigotry. Believe it, or not, Harry Agina is the LEAST SECTIONAL living Nigerian today. I was born into Christianity because my mama and papa were Christians. But as an adult, I am not a religious person. I am as Christian as I am a Muslim, a traditionalist, and a member of all the other religions that exist today. Religion means absolutely nothing to me. Instead, I am a spiritualist, whereby the only Godly person is one who has GOOD MORAL VALUES, period!!! Being a Christian or a Muslim or member of any other religion does not make one a good or Godly person. No sir, no ma’am!!! In fact, some of the most highly regarded Christians and Muslims are among the most evil persons in the world.
The same principle applies in tribalism for me. Yes, I was born an Igbo child, but as an adult, my true brother or sister is one with the right character, not necessarily an Igbo person. For instance, I condemn some corrupt Igbo politicians such a as Orji Uzor Kalu, Hope Uzodinma, and Roachas Okorocha as much as, or even worse than I condemn the Yoruba President Tinubu. In 2019, I spent my own funds to produce 5 promotional videos to support Atiku Abubakar’s presidential bid. He is Hausa-Fulani, but I supported him against my own Igbo candidates in that race because I thought he was preferable. Challenge me, and I would immediately post those videos for you to watch. That was then, when I didn’t know that Atiku is a terrible tribalist with poor integrity because of my absence in Nigeria.
All that, to condemn all the hypocrites who make their choices of who they support in the politics of Nigeria based on nonsensical tribal and religious sentiments. They don’t mind if Nigeria is completely destroyed, as long as the destruction is by a member of their tribe or religion.
Finally, I conclude with my REASON FOR THIS COMMENTARY, which is the recent consistent improvement in President Tinubu’s fight against terrorism in Nigeria. I have been one of the strongest, harshest, or hardest critics of his hitherto poor war against terrorism. Now, that I have seen serious consistent and progressive improvement, I MUST SAY, WELL DONE, MR. PRESIDENT!!! I truly hail you, sir. The seriousness and progress are very evident in the recent operations of the armed forces. They have yielded great results of rescues of kidnap victims and capture-cum-killing of several terrorists. Below is today’s (August 17, 2026) news picture and caption about the most recent of many recent successes against terrorism.
I was very furious when our president was more interested in begging, negotiating with, and paying terrorists in the senseless name of “Non-kinetic approach.” He was effectively making the terrorists bolder and committing atrocities with annoying impunity. Now, Mr. President has changed his approach from the annoying “Non-kinetic” (dialogue with terrorists) to kinetic (military actions) approach like the rest of the world. The positive results are very clear and appeasing. Now, the terrorists are in fear and running for shelter instead of boasting about their evil atrocities on TV and in viral videos. Now, Harry Agina and Mr. No Bullshitting are happy and proud of President Tinubu. And now, we say to Mr. President: Thank you, sir! Well done, sir!! We hail you, sir!!! We’re now proud of you, meeeeeeeen!!!!!!!
