I am Harry Agina. Above and below are pictures and news captions of Nyesom Wike of Nigeria, the man I call grandstanding Nigerian Mafia Boss with the croaky voice of street thugs. He was in a press conference to discuss the Osun state governorship election of August 15, 2026. His boast that portrays him as the MASTER CRIMINAL ELECTION RIGGER of Nigeria has since gone viral on video. Wike boasted with IMPUNITY that he would have grabbed and snatched the votes of the Osun voters for the federal ruling APC political party’s candidate. All he needed was President Tinubu’s command to make the APC candidate the governor instead of the re-elected incumbent governor, he boasted.
I am not a news reporter. So, I choose to address this issue from my typical analytical perspective completely different from how most other Nigerians discuss it. Mind you, all sensible Nigerians do understand my perspective, but many choose to consciously avoid it for various hypocritical and cowardly reasons, thus:
FACT 1: Election rigging in Nigeria always, repeat, ALWAYS involves the KILLING of scores of innocent Nigerians, before, during, and shortly after elections. Scores of people did get killed before and during the Osun governorship election of August 15, 2026. The most recent election aftermath killing happened yesterday, August 19, 2026. A 60-year old man was shot to death by political thugs. Allegedly, the thugs were sent by APC party members. Allegedly, the plot was to assassinate the winner of the Osun state governorship election and his nephew, Davido, the famous AfroBeat musician. Fortunately, the assassination attempt was foiled. Unfortunately, however, the bystanding elder was caught by a stray bullet.
FACT 2: Nyesom Wike always, repeat, ALWAYS publicly boasts that he is the almighty, lawless master of election rigging in Nigeria.
POSTULATION QUESTION 1: Going by “FACT 1” above, is it, or is it not correct to POSTULATE that whosoever gives thugs guns to rig elections is a MURDERER??
QUESTION 2: Going by “FACT 1” and “POSTULATION QUESTION” above, is it not correct to say that Nyesom Wike publicly boasts to the world that he enjoys the killing of innocent Nigerians to grab political seats of power against the will of Nigerians?
QUESTION 3: Is there any country in the entire democratic world, other than Nigeria, where a man would publicly boast to be an open election rigger and nothing happens to him???
QUESTION 4: Is there any country in the entire democratic world, other than Nigeria, where a man would publicly boast about his affinity to get citizens killed to rig elections and he is not imprisoned or executed??
